CNC Miller Setter Operator
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Setter Operator to join our clients dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in CNC machine operation, with proficiency in Heidenhain and/or Mazak systems. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the production of high-quality precision components.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling centres
* Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications
* Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and work-holding devices for each job
* Perform first article inspections and maintain quality control throughout the production process
* Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal output
* Troubleshoot and resolve machine-related issues promptly
* Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes
* Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organised work environment
* Train and mentor junior operators as needed
* Maintain accurate records of production activities and machine performance
