Fast-Fit Technician / MOT Tester required in Colchester, Essex.
Our automotive client has a thriving Fast-Fit business in Colchester and they are actively looking to hire a Fast Fit Technician / MOT Tester with an immediate start!
The workshop is fitted out with the latest equipment creating a modern and pleasing environment to work in. With being a well-established site; the successful MOT Technician will become a part of their close knit and friendly team!
In this position; you'll be completing MOT tests throughout the day as well as carrying out light service work on various makes and models of vehicles that come into the workshop.
Details & Benefits of the MOT Technician:
1. Basic Salary up to £38,000 p.a.
2. Weekday Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.30pm.
3. Alternate Saturday Rota 8.00am to 4.00pm.
4. Working hours: 5 days one week, 6 days the second week with a day off every other week.
5. Contract: Full Time, Permanent.
Requirements of the MOT Technician Role:
6. Current VOSA MOT Tester certificate (for MOT Tester role) and a recent experience completing tests.
7. A level 2 or level 3 qualification in Vehicle Mechanics.
8. A proven track record from within a professional workshop completing servicing, minor and fast-fit repairs.
9. Professional appearance and good communication skills.
