As an Assistant Manager, you will be an integral part of a high-performing tax compliance and advisory team in Gatwick, Bristol, Guildford, Reading, or Southampton. The team supports and advises a range of interesting and expanding companies operating in sectors such as technology, manufacturing, leisure and tourism, retail, professional services, and construction.
You’ll make an impact by:
* Delivering high-quality annual corporation tax compliance services to a portfolio of clients across various industries, including reviewing computations & tax for accounting disclosures and serving as a main contact for client queries.
* Providing value-adding, technically accurate, clear, and concise tax advice on issues relevant to clients’ business risks, challenges, and opportunities, including loss relief, tax relief on interest, transfer pricing, R&D tax relief, capital allowances, reorganisations, shareholder reorganisations, international tax matters, and acquisitions & disposals.
* Assisting colleagues in other departments to provide high-quality service and identify tax-related risks and opportunities, including working with transaction teams on tax due diligence and restructuring advisory teams on distress or insolvency cases.
* Continuously improving your skills and knowledge, and coaching junior team members to support their development.
What we are looking for:

* Is ACA, ACCA, and/or CTA (part) qualified.
* Has a background in accountancy practice with good knowledge of corporate tax.
* Has proven experience in client handling and managing a busy portfolio.
* Possesses excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Has experience with specialist tax software (advantageous).
