Driver Hire Darlington are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to assist our client based in Shildon. A typical day would involved taking the load from Spennymoor up to Scotland or Manchester and returning. There are one to four drops depends on the shift.
As a HGV Class Driver you must have:
1. CE Licence/ Class 1 Licence
2. CPC Card & Digital Tachograph
3. No Major Endorsements on your licence
HGV Driver responsibilities include:
4. Vehicle safety checks
5. Reporting any defects
6. Successfully completing trunks
7. Following route plans
The successful HGV Driver can expect:
8. £17.40 per hour (paye adv)
9. Weekly Pay
10. 8 Hours guaranteed every shift
11. Referral bonus – introduce a friend to us and earn when they have worked 20 shifts!
This work is commutable from Darlington, Durham and other surrounding areas.
