Key Responsibilities
* Assist with managing overdue accounts and contacting customers regarding outstanding payments
* Handle inbound and outbound calls in a professional and empathetic manner
* Update and maintain accurate financial records
* Work with the finance team to monitor payment plans and help resolve queries
* Support customers experiencing financial difficulties by signposting them to appropriate solutions
* Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues to ensure effective collaboration
* Provide administrative support including responding to emails and updating account notes
Essential Skills & Attributes
* Strong communication skills with a confident telephone manner
* Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
* Good attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to organise tasks and manage time effectively
* Proactive, willing to learn, and able to work as part of a team
* Basic IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
Desired Experience (but not essential)
* Previous experience in a customer service, call handling, or collections role
* Interest in finance, credit control, or debt management
* Familiarity with basic financial terms and processes
