We are looking for an experienced National Account Manager to join our Public Sector Sales Division, focusing on account development, retention, and growth across all multiple verticals in the public sector. This role has arisen due to internal promotion.
Position: National Account Manager
Location: Covering Midlands
Salary: Commensurate with Experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5.30pm

As a National Account Manager, you will manage an existing portfolio of accounts within a specified geographical area. Your role involves retaining and developing client relationships, understanding their objectives, and acting as an extension of their business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively contact clients to maintain high service levels and identify new business opportunities, managing the opportunity pipeline for profitable growth.
* Manage opportunity pipeline to ensure profitable gross margins across all accounts.
* Project manage the rollout of new contracts and services.
* Advise on market trends and competitor activities.
* Manage own diary to exceed KPIs, both commercial and behavioral.
Candidate Requirements:
* Strong motivation and commitment to achieving goals.
* Experience with Public sector frameworks and contracts.
* Accurate record-keeping and CRM relevance.
* Experience in developing and maintaining contracted business.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills at all levels.
* Experience with tender processes and re-tenders.
* Understanding of sales and business development with strong commercial acumen.
* Valid full Driving Licence.
* Willingness to undertake overnight stays if required.
* Charismatic, professional, and situationally aware.
