An opportunity within MBDA's Customer Support & Services (CSS) organisation for a Through Life Engineer to take charge of work packages associated with influencing product design for support and for developing cost-effective support solutions for our global customers.
Location and working pattern
Location: Stevenage
Dynamic (hybrid) working: Typically 1-2 days on site per week, with temporary deviations agreed with your Line Manager.
Security clearance
British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. After offer, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
Salary and benefits
* Salary: Up to £50,000 depending on experience
* Company bonus: Up to £2,500 (based on company performance)
* Pension: Maximum total (employer and employee) contribution up to 14%

The opportunity
Working in an integrated project team environment during the product's design and development phase, you will apply through-life support knowledge and interpersonal skills to satisfy customers' support requirements and MBDA's objectives. As part of the Project Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) Manager’s team, you will progress design for support objectives and exploit new and existing technologies to facilitate through-life support. You will work alongside Reliability, Human Factors, Training and Technical Authors.
What we're looking for
* Sound knowledge of Integrated Logistic Support (ILS)
* Experience as an engineer with a track record in Supportability Engineering techniques such as Level Of Repair Analysis (LORA), Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA) and Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analysis
* Knowledge of ILS standards such as Def Stan 00-600 or ASD S3000L, with understanding of customer environment, structure and processes
