Supply Primary Teaching Assistant - West Sussex
Pay: £90 - £95 per day

Randstad is recruiting for proactive and adaptable Supply Teaching Assistants to support our partner primary schools throughout West Sussex. This is a rewarding opportunity for an educator who enjoys variety and wants to support KS1 and KS2 pupils across different local settings.
The Role
As a Supply TA, you will be instrumental in ensuring a positive and engaging learning environment, even during staff absences. You will step into different classrooms-often at short notice-to provide a stable and supportive presence for both the teacher and the pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
* Adaptable Support: Quickly integrating into new classroom environments and assisting the teacher with lesson delivery.
* Literacy & Numeracy: Providing targeted, one-to-one and small group support to boost pupils' confidence in core subjects.
* SEN Inclusion: Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) to ensure they can access all learning activities.
* Behaviour Management: Helping to manage classroom conduct and promoting a positive, respectful atmosphere.
* Reading & Pastoral Care: Listening to children read and providing emotional support to ensure pupil well-being.
* General Supervision: Ensuring student safety during break times, lunchtimes, and school trips.
