Are you organised, proactive and ready to play a key role in keeping residents safe? Our Compliance team is looking for a dedicated Compliance Administrator to support the delivery of essential building safety activities across the Council’s housing stock.

About the Role:
Based at Gosport Town Hall, you’ll work closely with the Compliance Manager and two Compliance Contract Leads to ensure the smooth running of our monthly contract meeting programmes across the six core compliance disciplines — known as the Big Six:
• Asbestos management assessments and actions
• Electrical inspections and testing
• Fire risk assessments and actions
• Gas inspections and testing

Your work will directly support our aim of achieving 100% compliance, helping to keep residents and building users safe at all times.
You’ll also assist with additional Tier 2 compliance activities as they arise, providing administrative support to the relevant Contract Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinating and administering monthly contract meetings
• Producing and maintaining accurate minutes, action logs and KPI records
• Supporting the operation of the Council’s new compliance management system, including uploading certification and managing outcomes
• Attending operational and strategic meetings when required
• Ensuring data is accurately recorded, updated and analysed across various software platforms

Who We’re Looking For
You will:
• Have experience supporting contractor contract meetings in an administrative capacity
• Understand the importance of timely compliance delivery
• Ideally bring experience from a compliance-related environment
• Be confident working to cyclical deadlines, producing minutes and tracking actions
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word (letters, reports, specifications) and Excel (data analysis)
• Have experience using software systems to update and manage data; knowledge of compliance management systems is an advantage
• Be organised, methodical and able to prioritise effectively
• Communicate clearly and professionally in person, over the phone and in writing

If you’re detail‑driven, enjoy structured work, and want to contribute to a team that plays a vital role in resident safety, we’d love to hear from you
