Role Description
This is a Part time/Full time, on-site Senior Optical Dispenser role located in Cannock. The Optical Dispenser will assist patients with advisin on suitable eyeware and contact lenses, ensure customer satisfaction, and provide outstanding customer service. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with clinical team, educating patients on eyewear options, interpreting prescriptions, performing minor eyewear adjustments, and maintaining product displays. The role requires a focus on precision and patient care to support the practice’s high standards of service.
Qualifications
* Knowledge of optics and optometry principles, including interpreting prescriptions for glasses and contact lenses.
* Experience in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction in a professional setting.
* Familiarity with eye exams and the ability to assist in eye care procedures and education.
* Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
* Previous experience in an optical setting or a related healthcare environment is a plus.
* Flexibility to adapt to the needs of a dynamic and customer focused practice.
