Job Description
Opportunity for a Corporate Lawyer to join a highly regarded VC investment fund on an initial 12 month fixed term contract commencing in September to cover for a period of maternity leave. Central London office, hybrid working.
Reporting to the General Counsel you will have a varied remit including;
* leading on transactional matters, drafting and reviewing documentation for investments, shareholder, loan agreements and M&A contracts
* working closely with portfolio companies at all stages of their growth life cycle
* overseeing financing rounds and exit events
* liaising extensively with stakeholders across the business and portfolio
* instructing external counsel and project management
To be considered for this opportunity you will be 4+ years a guide with experience gained in the Corporate practice of a top tier firm and/or in a relevant role in-house. Technical experience and expertise across private and public corporate and company law, PE and VC investments, M&A, along with working knowledge of the Companies Act, Listing Rules, Takeover Code etc is essential.
