The Waiter/Waitress at Shark Club UK is employed to ensure customer satisfaction in our bustling, high-energy sports bar and grill. The successful candidate is expected to provide top-tier service while working seamlessly as part of an integrated team. This position involves direct interaction with our customers, therefore a high level of professionalism, excellent communication skills, and a passion for hospitality are paramount.
Responsibilities:
* Warmly greet and seat customers in the dining area
* Accurately take customer orders and relay them to the kitchen staff or bar
* Ensure that meals and beverages are correctly prepared before serving to ensure quality
* Answer customer questions about the menu, including meal ingredients and preparation methods
* Handle customer complaints professionally and notify the manager when necessary
* Collaborate closely with kitchen staff and bartenders to ensure smooth operation
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations
* Ensure tables and dining area are kept clean and tidy
Qualifications:
* Previous experience as a Waiter or Waitress is required
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced work environment
* Knowledge of POS (Point of sale) system is advantageous
* Familiarity with food safety regulations
* A professional and presentable personal appearance
* Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
