Daedalian Glass is one of Europe's premier decorative glass studios, delivering bespoke architectural and artistic glass projects across the UK and internationally. We're seeking a highly organised Commercial & Sales Assistant to support our Commercial Manager and Director of Sales. This role is primarily focused on commercial administration and purchasing, with a small but important element of sales coordination. It's ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong administrative skills, and an interest in supporting creative, design-led projects.
Your Key Responsibilities
Commercial Administration
* Assist in preparing budgets, tenders, and client documentation.
* Maintain accurate records using Atlas, CRM and Jira project management systems.
* Assist with cost reports and other financial records.
* Ensure compliance with company procedures for document control and filing.
Purchasing Support
* Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations and place purchase orders.
* Track deliveries and coordinate with finance to ensure timely payments.
Sales Administration
* Log and monitor incoming sales enquiries via CRM.
* Manage and monitor CRM data and bi-weekly reporting.
* Conduct initial information gathering and qualify leads before passing to the Director of Sales.
* Support meeting arrangements and prepare bi-weekly sales reports.
Operational Support
* Facilitate communication between departments to support smooth project delivery.
* Assist with data collection and reporting for management.
What You'll Bring
Essential
* Proven experience of clear, professional and successful communication with internal and external stakeholders.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Analytical mindset and ability to work independently.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Desirable
* Experience in purchasing, sales, or commercial support.
* Familiarity with Jira and CRM systems.
