Carry out the servicing and maintenance of Portable fire extinguishers. All equipment will be provided to ensure high standards of service, installation, and maintenance of Portable fire extinguishers in line with the current British Standard Guidelines.
Responsibilities include:
1. Install, Service & Maintain Portable Fire Extinguishers
2. Work in line with current British standards and customer requirements
3. Plan and complete call visits within your designated region, ensuring efficiency and resource optimization
4. Build professional relationships with clients
5. Ensure effective area planning to maximize travel and on-site time
6. Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance efficiently and cost-effectively
7. Communicate effectively with customers about system/equipment status
8. Liaise with Service Administrators to meet customer needs
9. Manage and secure vehicle stock, tools, and equipment
10. Conduct site surveys to assess fire equipment and signage
11. Complete all duties professionally and positively

Candidate requirements:
* Experience in fire extinguisher servicing with relevant qualifications (BS5306 parts 3 and 8)
* Technical background in Mechanical Fire industry
* Customer service experience
* Qualified to BAFE / FETA or equivalent with recent refresher training
* Ability to work independently and solve problems
* Flexibility to travel for work and training
* Experience with other Mechanical Fire Systems is advantageous
* Computer literate (email, Word, Excel, PDA/iPad/smartphone)
* Basic math skills for calculating fire ratings
* Ability to prepare quotes and recommendations
* Full driving license

Compensation:
* Salary: £26,000 per annum + commission (OTE up to £40,000)
* 4% commission on completed works
