Endpoint Security Engineer (Ivanti / Defendpoint)
📍 Barrow-in-Furness (Onsite – 5 days per week)
We’re supporting a major, highly secure enterprise environment in the search for an Endpoint Security Engineer to join their End User Experience team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, enterprise-scale setting, contributing to critical endpoint security and workplace engineering initiatives.
This role is fully onsite in Barrow-in-Furness, offering hands‑on involvement with modern workplace technologies and the chance to grow within a collaborative, delivery‑focused environment.
What You’ll Do:
* Deliver assigned engineering and project tasks within agreed timeframes
* Support both internal and customer‑led projects
* Carry out BAU and change activities across endpoint environments
* Provide a high level of customer service and stakeholder engagement
* Contribute to secure, efficient and scalable workplace solutions
What You’ll Bring:
* Strong experience with Ivanti Device Control (IDAC) and/or Defendpoint (essential)
* Scripting/automation knowledge (e.g. PowerShell, VBScript, batch)
* Understanding of endpoint security controls (e.g. BitLocker, NTFS permissions, file share security)
* Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow
Additional Requirements:
* Sole British National (due to clearance requirements)
* Eligible for SC Clearance
* Able to commit to 5 days per week onsite
