This role is part of EY’s Data and Analytics team. You will lead cross‑functional teams to deliver analytics initiatives that help clients unlock value from their information assets.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Lead diverse teams with varying skillsets who use different Data and Analytics technologies.
* Lead end‑to‑end project delivery for data and analytics initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
* Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring successful execution and delivery.
* Oversee project budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial constraints.
* Adapting your leadership style to fit team, client, and cultural needs; anticipate and identify risks and elevate issues as appropriate.
* Engage with key stakeholders across client organisations to understand their data needs, communicate project progress, and ensure alignment with their strategic/project goals.
* Create a positive learning culture and coach and counsel junior team members to help them develop.
* Work in multi‑disciplinary teams across a range of industries, using analytics to transform and improve their business.
* Draw on your knowledge and experience to create innovative insights, adding value to both clients and the broader society.
* Champion operational efficiency improvements on projects and internal initiatives, consistently driving projects to completion and ensuring high quality.
* Contribute to the development of the wider Data & Analytics team’s future by building our brand, attending relevant events, collaborating with other internal teams, and producing thought leadership.
* Actively establish, maintain, and strengthen internal and external relationships; with guidance from partners, directors, and other senior managers, identify potential business opportunities for EY to incubate or drive new solutions and services.
To Qualify for the Role
* A completed degree (bachelors, masters, or PhD)
* Proven experience as a Data Analytics professional or similar role in a consulting environment with a focus on project delivery and management.
* Proven experience in leading cross‑functional teams and managing complex projects.
* Demonstrated ability to supervise and develop others, effectively communicate, manage client expectations, deliver quality projects on time, and grow the team.
* Ability to communicate technical information to non‑technical colleagues and clients.
* Ambition to continuously develop your skills and abilities.
* Analytically minded with the ability to assimilate and apply new techniques and knowledge, delivering insights and solving problems.
* Professional with ability to work in diverse, evolving, and dynamic client environments.
* Working knowledge of key analytics tools such as:
o Reporting and visualisation: PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik
o Programming languages: SQL, Python, R
o Cloud computing platforms: Azure, AWS, GCP
* Experience in any aspects of the data analytics lifecycle, e.g., Data Strategy, Data Manipulation and ETL, Data Analysis & Visualisation, applying machine learning and statistical analysis to business issues.
* A passion to contribute to the growth of the team, bringing energy, enthusiasm, and the courage to lead and develop others.
* Relevant experience in Agile Delivery.
