We are excited to announce an opening to appoint an individual to be our Head of Food and Nutrition, commencing in September 2026.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate strong leadership and management skills with a genuine passion and enthusiasm for teaching their subject. We are looking for someone with excellent theoretical and practical skills, and an interest in developing the subject as part of the School’s wider enrichment offering.
In addition to teaching, the post holder will also have pastoral responsibilities within their allocated year group. All teaching staff are expected to contribute to the pastoral and enrichment programmes of the School. All staff share the responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of the students, in accordance with the School’s Safeguarding policies.
Reporting to the Senior Deputy Head, the Head of Department is responsible for academic standards in their subject; for the development of his/her subject throughout the School; for ensuring that the teaching is stimulating across the age and ability range and for fostering an enthusiastic atmosphere within the department
