The Steam & Industrial Air Field Engineer will be working with the project team to deliver rental boiler packages across UK & Ireland. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of project execution from initial site survey, all the way through to aftercare.
You will
1. Carry out site surveys to ascertain technical requirements of any potential rental solution.
2. Contribute to the design phase of the project.
3. Carry out the commissioning activities prior to customer handover.
4. Carry out service checks & attend breakdowns if required.
5. The efficient management of PSSR inspections, working closely with our chosen competent body.
6. Maintain regular customer contact to establish requirements and ensure a high standard of customer service is delivered at all times.
7. Provide technical support to the sales team during the tendering phase.
8. To work alongside and collaborate with other Atlas Copco business colleagues to effectively promote Atlas Copco products and services.
9. Carry out servicing and maintenance on varied compressed air equipment and associated products.
10. Effectively diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on a varied range of compressed air equipment and associated products.

11. Previous project engineering experience, preferably relative to steam boilers.
12. Possess a recognised qualification in a mechanical or electrical discipline.
13. Previous commissioning experience, preferably relative to steam boilers.
14. Experience with Weishaupt & Driezler burners would be advantageous.
15. Strong HSE track record.
16. Experience with pipework, hosework & associated ancillaries.
17. Possess a recognised qualification in a mechanical or electrical discipline.
18. The ability to read P & ID as well as Electrical schematics.
19. Communication: the ability to express ideas, send, receive and exchange information clearly.
20. Able to positively persuade, convince and impress others in order to achieve results.
21. Able to maintain organisation, ethical and social values in all business activities.
22. Broad engineering knowledge across a number of subject matters.
23. Knowledge of PSSR & PED statutes.
24. An understanding of piping standards.
