Key responsibilities for the Warehouse Operative include,
* Receiving Goods, unloading deliveries, checking for damage or missing items, and signing delivery notes
* Storing Stock, labelling items, moving goods to designated storage areas, and ensuring safe, organised storage
* Picking & Packing, accurately selecting items for orders, packing securely, and preparing goods for dispatch - this may involve heavy lifting and extended periods of standing
* Dispatching Orders, loading goods onto delivery vehicles, ensuring items are secure and ready for timely delivery
* Stock Control, updating records, completing paperwork, and helping with regular stock checks
* Maintaining Cleanliness, keeping work areas clean, tidy, and safe at all times
The ideal Warehouse Operative will need the following,
* Some previous warehouse experience
* excellent attention to detail along with a willingness to learn and take on new tasks
* Strong team player with a positive attitude and clear communication skills
* Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
* Physical capability to move goods safely
* Basic IT skills for stock and record-keeping
* Full UK driving licence and own vehicle essential due to location - free on-site parking
* 40 hour week. Hours 8.30am-5pm Mon-Thurs, 8am-4.30pm Fri
