 Position: Customer Experience Team Supervisor

Location: Office Based - 340 Deansgate, Manchester, M3 4LY

Working Hours: Shifts are on a rotational basis between the hours of 8am-8pm Monday – Friday and the shifts are published in advance to support a healthy work life balance. You will be required to work 1 in 4 Saturdays with a day off during the week.

About the role:

This role is responsible for leading the daily operations of the Customer Experience Team, ensuring outstanding service delivery, strong performance, and continuous improvement. You will support the Customer Experience Manager by driving service excellence, developing team capability, and promoting a culture aligned with our company values and ‘Think Like a Customer (TLC)’ principles.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

As a Customer Experience Team Supervisor at Rendall & Rittner, you will:

1. Supervising the daily activity of our CX team across all communication channels
2. Allocating workloads and ensuring KPIs, SLAs, and performance standards are consistently met
3. Coaching and developing team members through regular 1:1s, feedback, and training
4. Handling escalated or complex customer cases and promoting first-contact resolution
5. Managing rota planning, resource allocation, and day-to-day operational workflow
6. Ensuring compliance with SOPs, complaint timelines, and customer service standards
7. Conducting quality audits, spotting trends, and driving continuous improvement
8. Supporting people processes including absence management, wellbeing, and performance
9. Collaborating closely with internal teams and acting as a key link to senior management
10. Supporting projects, campaigns, and new system rollouts (including CRM and digital tools)

What we are looking for:

11. Proven experience in a customer service or contact centre leadership role
12. Strong people management skills with the ability to coach and motivate teams
13. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
14. Ability to manage workloads, meet KPIs, and maintain high service standards
15. Experience handling escalated customer cases and driving first-contact resolution
16. Organised and detail-oriented with strong planning skills
17. Comfortable working with digital tools and CRM systems
18. A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
19. Knowledge of property management is desirable but not essential
