We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
* Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support individuals in daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication management, and mobility assistance.
* Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
* Implement care plans as directed by healthcare professionals, ensuring that all aspects of the plan are followed accurately.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in their condition.
* Collaborate with other team members to provide high-quality care in a safe environment.
* Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes as required.
* Drive clients to appointments or social activities when necessary.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Ability to understand and implement care plans effectively.
* A compassionate approach towards providing support to individuals in need.
* IT proficiency for maintaining records and documentation.
* A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting clients as needed.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required.
