Job Summary
Park Holidays UK, a leading provider of holiday parks across England and Scotland is seeking a capable and detail-oriented Senior Management Accountant to support the Finance department in delivering accurate management and financial reporting, stock analysis, and team supervision. The role spans multiple areas including management accounts preparation, variance analysis, fixed assets, stock control, park operations finance, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, process discipline, and the ability to collaborate across teams. Job Duties
Manage the annual margin report and other weekly pack reports
Organise team meetings and manage a team of 8 including regular performance reviews
Review of the Weekly MI Pack for caravan sales and H&T
Manage the finance commission accounting and accruals
Manage the margin funded extra accounting
Send and prepare monthly NCC Data for Senior Leadership Team
Assist with the Data Warehouse project increasing automation within Finance
Communicate with Parks on questions regarding their individual monthly P&L's
Review monthly/quarterly balance sheet reconciliations
Assist with year-end audit requests
Authorise payments on Bankline
Assist with ad-hoc tasks as required by the Senior Finance Team
Requirements
ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with department heads
Confident using IT systems, with strong working knowledge of Excel
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Diligent work ethic
Strong reporting technique
Experience in driving process change
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
A proactive and positive attitude with a passion for embracing change
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
