As a Technical Lead in our Transportation team, you’ll be pivotal in implementing ideas that shape the future of how we move. You’ll collaborate across new build, renewal, maintenance and assessment works, from large, high-profile projects to progressive and specialised ones. Our clients include Department for Infrastructure, National Transport Authority, Highways England and Local Authority councils across UK and Ireland, providing plenty of opportunities to stay challenged.
Your role
* Providing technical guidance on highway infrastructure projects.
* Mentoring and coaching team members and taking responsibility for their technical development.
* Liaising with key clients and discussing design/technical solutions with stakeholders including technical and non-technical clients.
* Coordinating with Practice Managers to ensure projects are sufficiently resourced.
* Delegating work, programming deliverables and monitoring progress.
* Identifying and responding to project commercial risks and opportunities.
* Supporting the business in work-winning activities, representing the business at networking events, preparing bids and tenders, and developing relationships with existing and prospective clients.
