Purchasing Administrator
Your new company Hays are working with a Manufacturing business on a temporary basis who are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Administrator Assistant to join their busy and fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, a strong team player, and capable of managing multiple administrative tasks with accuracy and efficiency. While experience with procurement systems is beneficial, full training will be provided. Your new role As a Purchasing Administrator, your role will involve: Process project documentation and data entry tasks. Enter and maintain works orders and related records. Update Excel spreadsheets. Manage and update order confirmations. Handle telephone enquiries and provide administrative support to the procurement team. Perform general administrative duties including filing and document management. Ensure compliance with the company’s ISO procedures at all times. Maintain and update product categories, lead times, and pricing information. Track and update the status of works orders and maintain accurate records.
What you'll need to succeed Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative role. Available to start immediately. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office software. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
