The role of Bank Project Worker will include:
1. Providing house related support to ensure relevant support is provided to encourage our customers to maximise their own potential and level of independence
2. Managing health and safety responsibilities within a social housing environment
3. Assessing customers’ needs, writing, and updating support plans
4. Working with statutory and non-statutory agencies on behalf of the customers, actively encouraging choice and involvement, or acting as an advocate when required
5. Developing professional relationships with customers, using appropriate and clear communication to ensure their personal choice, privacy and dignity is maintained
Skills and experiences:
6. A sound knowledge of housing management including voids and arrears management and an understanding of occupancy agreements
7. Experience of motivating and encouraging individuals to reach their goals
8. Knowledge of health and safety requirements
9. The ability to work on your own initiative as you will be required to source innovative solutions to problems that allow customers independence to be enhanced
10. Some experience of working with customers with mental health and/or complex needs
11. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel or similar
12. NVQ3 in Health & Social Care, or willing to work towards
