We are recruiting on behalf of a luxury, family-owned country house hotel set within beautiful Hertfordshire countryside just outside London. Our client is seeking an ambitious and experienced Sales Manager to join their commercial team and play a key role in driving MICE and corporate business. This is a pivotal position supporting the Director of Sales in maximising revenue opportunities, developing key accounts, and growing the hotels presence across global and corporate markets. Key Responsibilities Secure new business and develop accounts across the global MICE and corporate market Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts to achieve revenue targets Build strong relationships with agencies, consortia, corporate clients, and intermediaries Identify and convert new business opportunities across multiple channels Represent the hotel at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events Conduct account reviews, maintain CRM accuracy, and manage RFPs and contracts Monitor market trends and competitor activity to protect and grow business Organise and host client visits, familiarisation trips, and corporate events About You Proven experience in hotel sales, ideally within MICE or corporate segments Strong networking and relationship-building skills Commercially driven with a strategic, analytical approach Highly organised with strong account management ability Confident communicator with a proactive, self-starting mindset Willingness to travel as required The Opportunity Join a luxury hospitality environment offering strong career development, a supportive commercial team, and excellent benefits including staff meals, hotel and spa discounts, additional holiday entitlement, and industry affiliation perks
