We’relooking for a Shift Manager to join the team at our new venueChopstix!
Whether it’s to start your day right,a quick bite to eat for lunch, or an after dinner snack after ashow, as a Shift Manager you’ll be vital in helping our guest’screate smiles – getting stuck in to give them memories that willlast a lifetime! You’ll be part of a big team of people who areresponsible for providing our guests with an altogether more funand entertaining holiday.
Reporting to theChopstix Venue Manager, you will be responsible for role-modelbehaviour by leading the way as a visible presence in the venue,maintaining high levels of hygiene and cleanliness, supporting themanager in the day to day running as regards team levels, analysingKPI and stock control systems to maximise gross profit marginsalong with general activities, brand standard compliance, foodsafety and health & safety policies.
A realpassion for supporting the Venue Manager leading by example andinspiring others to deliver experiences that truly delight ourguests. You should be an advocate for your team’s fulfilment atwork, ensuring that you are having regular 121's and PDPdiscussions to support their development and career with Butlin’s.As with all roles at Butlin’s, no day will be the same and you willneed to enjoy thinking on your feet, getting stuck in, and ensuringthat our guest experience is always your number onepriority.
PleaseNote:
To be considered for this role you wouldneed to be available to start work W/C 19th May and you will berequired to take part in essential training away from resort for 2weeks when starting this position.
Thisrole covers a 5-day working week over 7 days, so flexibility isvery important with a range of shiftpatterns.
KeyResponsibilities
We are looking fora passionate leader with great Chopstix brand knowledge (or similarhigh street quick service food brand knowledge) or a desire tolearn if unfamiliar with the Chopstix brand. You will focus on teamexperience whilst being able to balance this with keeping our guestexperience at the heart of yourdecisions.
You should have previousexperience in a busy restaurant or food services environments wherea balance of speed and quality is important. You should beconfident to direct and respond in any situation whilst deliveringconsistent brand standards.
Theability to lead, motivate and engage your team, even at periods ofhigh demand is important, as well as being able to manage multiplepriorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements. With strongleadership skills, you should be confident in inspiring your teamto deliver amazing results for our teams and guests everyday.
