About the Role
As a Deputy Manager, you’ll work closely with the Registered Manager to lead a dedicated residential team and ensure the home delivers exceptional care and support.
You’ll be instrumental in creating a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where young people can grow and succeed.
* Lead & Support – Inspire, mentor, and guide staff to deliver high-quality care
* Drive Standards – Ensure compliance with safeguarding, regulations, and Ofsted standards
* Shape Care – Oversee and review person‑centred care plans
* Manage Operations – Support with budgets, staffing, and daily home management
* Develop People – Lead training, performance, and continuous improvement
* Create Culture – Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive environment
What We’re Looking For
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (essential)
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role within residential childcare
* Strong understanding of safeguarding & Ofsted frameworks
* Excellent organisation and leadership skills
* Level 5 Diploma (or willingness to work towards)
