We are seeking an experienced and resilient Maths and English Tutor to support a Year 11 student with complex needs. The young person has a history of developmental trauma, has previously been a Child in Care (CiC), and has been permanently excluded from mainstream school.
The student presents with SEMH needs, emotion‑regulation difficulties, and historically low engagement and attendance. We require a tutor who can deliver learning through a mentoring-led, relationship-based approach, offering consistency, structure, and emotional safety.

Rate: £25-£30 per hour
Hours: 10 hours a week
Start: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing
Requirements
Minimum 6 months' experience in a UK education setting (school, alternative provision, tutoring, etc.)
Experience supporting students with SEMH, PEX history, or trauma-informed practice (desirable)
Ability to build trust with disengaged learners
Reliable, patient, and committed to consistent delivery
