An opportunity has arisen for a Health Care Service Worker, to join the specialist nursing team within the Dermatology Treatment Centre.
You will be involved in patient care assisting with the general running of the clinic, as well as assisting medical and nursing staff deliver a wide range of dermatology treatments. These will include leg ulcer management, topical therapies, supporting skin surgery and surgical wound care, outpatient clinics, phototherapy as well as supporting the ward inpatient service.
We are looking for an innovative individual. Good interpersonal and communication skills are required, as is the ability to demonstrate a caring attitude.
Training and support will be provided for all aspects of the role, offering you an opportunity to develop a wide range of knowledge and skills.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
