This is a temporary maternity position offering 39 hours per week. The position is based in the H&M Inverness store.
Our Leaders aim to develop our people and grow our business. As a Store Manager, you are responsible for planning and achieving the store's sales and profit goals. You will lead, coach, and develop the team, promote a safe work environment, and ensure a customer-first experience.
Key responsibilities:
Sales & Profit:
* Lead with a vision to provide the best experience for colleagues and customers.
* Analyze and follow up on the store's Sales & Profit KPIs and take actions to maximize results.
* Oversee store operations and ensure best practices are followed in line with the Area vision.
People & Teams:
* Fulfill all employee relations responsibilities, legal requirements, and H&M policies.
* Recruit, train, develop, and manage succession planning for your store.
* Evaluate and manage team performance through dialogues, development plans, and feedback to foster leadership and support business needs.
* Ensure health & safety, legal, and security issues are handled according to H&M standards and local legislation.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who:
* Have store manager experience in a customer-facing environment.
* Have previous experience leading and managing teams.
* Possess knowledge and passion for driving goals forward.
* Have a passion for profitability and people.
* Maintain a customer-first mindset.
Additional Information
Availability is fully flexible, including weekends, 7 days a week.
