Exciting Career Opportunity: Cyber Security Engineer – FinTech Startup

The Role:
As a Cyber Security Engineer, you’ll work closely with the CTO and other engineering teams to implement security measures across the company’s platforms. You’ll play a key role in shaping the future of the company’s security posture, ensuring it’s robust, scalable, and aligned with industry best practices.
* Develop and implement security controls for cloud environments (AWS/GCP)
* Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and threat modeling
* Manage and respond to security incidents, ensuring swift recovery and mitigation
* Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security within the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
* Implement and enforce security policies and procedures across the organization
* Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and security trends within the FinTech space
* Lead internal and external security audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards
What We’re Looking For:
* 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security
* Solid knowledge of cloud security, ideally with AWS, GCP, or Azure
* Experience with security tools for vulnerability management, intrusion detection, and SIEM solutions
* Knowledge of secure development practices (DevSecOps, CI/CD)
* Familiarity with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS, ISO 27001)
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
* Experience with container security (Kubernetes, Docker)
* Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
* Certifications: CISSP, CISM, AWS Security Specialty, or similar
