Job Overview
We are looking for a local PCV driver to undertake a school contract 2 hours am and 2 hours pm Mon- Friday.
Must have valid PCV LICENCE AND DRIVER CPC CARD.
The role of a PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) driver is essential in providing safe and reliable transportation services to passengers. As a PCV driver, you will be responsible for operating various types of passenger vehicles, ensuring the comfort and safety of all passengers while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies. This position requires excellent driving skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and a commitment to customer service.
Duties
* Operate passenger vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
* Conduct pre-journey vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
* Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle interior and exterior.
* Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing support as needed.
* Ensure the safety of passengers by following company protocols during emergencies.
* Keep accurate records of journeys, including mileage and passenger numbers.
* Provide excellent customer service, addressing any passenger inquiries or concerns promptly.
* Collaborate with dispatchers to ensure timely departures and arrivals.
Qualifications
* Valid PCV driving licence with no more than three penalty points.
* Previous experience in a driving role is preferred but not essential.
* Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with passengers.
* A high level of professionalism and reliability.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends if required.
