Overview
A full-time 37.5 hours opportunity to ensure all reception processes are carried out in a timely and accurate manner to provide an efficient reception and quality service to all users.
Responsibilities
* Attend, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way.
* Speak with patients face to face or over the telephone to understand and deal with their needs, including booking appointments when required.
* Use and access the Patient Centre and attend patients on reception desks.
* Book appointments for patients as required.
* Deal with enquiries of a sensitive nature.
* Attend departmental meetings as and when required.
* Access the Patient Administration System to accurately record and collect patient data, ensuring errors are identified and corrected, including patient demographics.
* Coordinate clinic preparation and various administrative tasks to support the running of clinical activity.
