Responsibilities General Electrical duties. Install, Test, Maintain and examination of all current carrying equipment up to 1000v ac, 1200v dc. Work on HV systems to 11000v under the direct guidance and supervision of qualified SAP and AP Safe working knowledge of company “Permit to work “ system Installation of Electrical equipment such as MCC panels, motors, control equipment inc all Electrically operated fixed and portable equipment Selection and erection of cable handling systems Fault finding on Electrical equipment Works can be varied and at times may be required to undertake other duties such as assisting Mechanical or Civils engineering staff Responsibility for the use of a company van Will work away from home on occasions when travelling is not in the best interest of the company, (this will tend to be Monday – Friday, weekends back home) Implement all of the company's rules or procedures within the Health and Safety Policy that are appropriate to the activities being undertaken. Understand and sign onto all CPP/RAMS on Site and follow Safe Systems of Work and Risk Assessments. Adhere to all Health and Safety requirements and rules on Site. Always think Safety in mind and look after yourself and your colleagues. Wear all appropriate PPE.
