Job Role
We are seeking a dedicated Utilities Services Technician to join our team on the Surrey Council contract. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our highway maintenance operations by managing utility services and preventing service strikes.
Duties
* Conduct utility surveys and provide guidance on safe excavation methods.
* Assist operational teams in tracing and managing utility plant.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with safety standards.
* Maintain accurate records of utility services and interventions.
Person Specification
* Experience in utility services within highways maintenance or a related field.
* Strong understanding of utility mapping and safe excavation practices.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
* Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full Time Monday to Friday
