Responsibilities:
Our client, a pharmaceutical organisation, is seeking a Lab Tech to join their team in Tulloch, Perth. As a Lab Tech, you will play a crucial role in collecting and processing samples for testing. Your responsibilities include:
* Performing pH and microbiological testing on various samples, strictly following ISO & / Quality Management Systems.
* Reporting any non-conforming results to the QC Team Leader or Quality Manager to ensure compliance with UKAS and other regulatory standards.
* Performing contamination checks and physical assessments of media, contributing to quality assurance.
Qualifications and skills required:
* Minimum BSc in Microbiology or related field, or equivalent experience.
* Experience working in a laboratory environment is advantageous.
* Knowledge of ISO testing procedures, aseptic techniques, pipetting, contamination checks, pH, conductivity, membrane filtration, and media fertility testing.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting non-conforming results and following laboratory procedures.
