Customs Entry Clerk Our client is currently looking for a Customs Entry Clerk to work at their London office. The company are an international freight forwarders with office based throughout the UK. They cover all modes of transport including air, Road and Sea freight for both Imports and Exports. The role will be working on both Import and Export customs declarations based at their office in East London and is a full time permanent position. Duties will include: · Preparation and completion of customs entries for import and export · Dealing with entry queries · Commodity codes, duty rates, licences and documentation requirements etc · Calculation of Duty and VAT rates per consignment · Processing duty reclaims · Maintaining compliance with current and evolving customs legislation Salary: £25k to £30k; depending on experience Requirements Requirements: · Experience within a freight forwarding/Logistics environment essential · Comprehensive knowledge of customs procedures and principles · Experience with Sequoia software advantageous
