Energy Administrative Assistant\n Location: near Swindon\n Salary: £24k plus great benefts package\nHybrid: working part home and part office based.\n\nAcorn by Synergie are seeking an organised Administrative Assistant to support our energy management client by validating utility bills, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely and correct invoicing. The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative background, high numerical accuracy, and an interest in energy and utilities data. \n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nReceive, review, and validate energy bills (electricity, gas, water) against contracts and consumption data.\nInvestigate and resolve billing discrepancies.\nMaintain an accurate and up-to-date bill validation database.\nGenerate regular and ad hoc reports on energy spend, anomalies, and trends.\nAssist in the preparation of energy audits and monthly reporting packs.Essential:\n\nProven experience in an administrative role (minimum 1-2 years).\nStrong numerical skills and attention to detail.\nProficient in Microsoft Excel and general data entry.\nAbility to interpret utility bills and identify errors.\nExcellent organizational and time management skills.\nGood written and verbal communication.\nProactive approach to problem-solving.Desirable:\n\nExperience in energy management, utilities, or facilities management.\nKnowledge of energy billing systems or portals (e.g., EDF, E.ON, British Gas, etc.).\nFamiliarity with energy terminology and contract structures.Qualifications:\n\nGCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English (required).Apply now or contact Kristy at our Chippenham branch for more information.\n\nAcorn by Synergie acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment
