Conduct regular inspections of equipment, including forklifts, to ensure proper functioning and safety standards. Implement best practices for materials handling and heavy lifting procedures to minimise risk of injury. Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement in warehouse efficiency. Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless logistics operations. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Familiarity with logistics processes and materials handling techniques. Experience with warehouse management systems is highly desirable. Excellent team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse workforce. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by operational demands. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in executing business processes.
