2. Are looking for a PMO & Delivery Manager to support on a contract basis

About Our Client

A well known, highly respected Financial Services organisation based in Bromley

Job Description

Governance, Assurance & Methodology· Own and maintain the Delivery Governance Framework, including stage‑gates, change control, risk governance, and approval pathways.· Lead preparation of governance materials, ensuring high-quality, accurate reporting.· Ensure adherence to governance standards across all projects, including documentation quality· Maintain and enhance prioritisation matrices, scoring models, and dependency mapping for organisational decision making.

Portfolio & Programme Delivery Oversight· Oversee the full cross‑functional delivery portfolio, providing progress summaries, risk assessments, KPI monitoring, forecasting and variance analysis.· Ensure programme and project delivery aligns with strategic priorities and capacity constraints.· Run portfolio Kanban reviews, health checks, and delivery runway planning.

PMO Leadership & People Management· Line‑manage PMO Analysts, Project Managers, and Delivery Team Leaders.· Oversee recruitment, onboarding, promotions and succession planning within the delivery function.· Support career development and capability uplift across project managers and analysts.· Ensure consistency in templates, reporting standards and delivery tooling (e.g., Smartsheets).

Change Control & Release Governance· Chair (or support) the Change Control Board, ensuring impact assessments, dependency reviews and decisions are documented.· Coordinate cross‑departmental inputs for strategy and BAU change requests.

Strategic Execution & Prioritisation· Lead organisational prioritisation activities applying structured weighting across benefits, cost, speed, effort and resource utilisation.· Support Chief Officers and Workstream Sponsors with planning, sequencing and benefits tracking.

Business Readiness & Implementation Governance· Ensure projects achieve successful go‑live through structured business readiness and operational readiness assessments.· Lead (or support) readiness workstreams, including test completion reviews, risk assessments, stakeholder alignment, and sign‑off.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate should have:· Significant experience leading a PMO or large delivery function within a regulated or complex organisation· Experience managing multi‑disciplinary teams delivering business and IT change· Experience facilitating senior leadership forums· Demonstrable success in building and embedding governance frameworks
