We are seeking an organised and detail‑focused Sales Administrator to join a small team based in Poole. This key support role within a B2B sales environment works closely with the Sales Manager and wider team to ensure smooth processing of orders, accurate sales administration, and excellent customer service.
The business operates internationally, primarily across the UK, EMEA, and some Middle East and Asian markets, supplying OEM customers. This role suits someone with solid sales administration experience and an interest in working within a technical or manufacturing‑led environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Process customer orders accurately on the internal system
* Send order confirmations and ensure all order documentation is correct
* Set up new customers within the CRM system
* Provide basic quotations using established price lists
* Respond to sales enquiries and support the Sales Manager when they are out of the office
* Assist with CRM administration, including basic lead tracking (Salesforce experience preferred)
* Support ISO 9001 processes by logging non‑conformities and customer complaints within electronic systems
* Assist with shipping documentation and order paperwork as holiday cover for the shipping administrator
* Perform general sales administration and ad‑hoc office support as required
Qualifications
* Experience using Salesforce or another CRM system advantageous
* Previous exposure to B2B sales and/or OEM customers beneficial
* Familiarity with ISO 9001 processes desirable; full training will be provided
