Hours: 36 hours per week basic, 1.5x for the next 11 hours, double time thereafter
Rate: Up to £20.00 per hour (depending on skill level)

Job Description:
Our client, a precision engineering company specialising in high-spec components for aerospace and industrial applications, is looking for an experienced CNC Miller / Programmer with strong Heidenhain knowledge. This hands-on role involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC milling machines to produce components to exacting tolerances.
Key Responsibilities:
Programming and operating CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls.
Machine setup including tooling, workholding, and offsets.
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
Conducting first-off inspections and quality checks.
Troubleshooting machining issues and optimising programs for efficiency.
Maintaining high standards of safety, machine cleanliness, and operation.
Technical Requirements:
Proven experience with Heidenhain CNC milling machines.
Strong understanding of feeds, speeds, tooling, and machining strategies.
Ability to perform accurate measurements using precision tools.
Knowledge of tolerance requirements, surface finishes, and machining best practices.
Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
