Tax & Client Development Lead – About The Role
* Lead and motivate a client-focused team to deliver high-quality tax services
* Build strong relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for additional services
* Support new business development initiatives, including meeting prospects and pitching solutions
* Set team targets for client satisfaction, service delivery, and growth, and monitor progress
* Coach team members in both tax technical matters and client engagement skills
* Oversee Self-Assessment and compliance processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to UK tax legislation
* Analyse client portfolios to identify commercial opportunities and provide actionable insights
The successful candidate will have:
* Practical UK tax experience, ideally within a practice or client-facing environment
* Commercial awareness and a knack for spotting opportunities to add value
* Strong relationship-building and communication skills
* Experience or interest in sales/business development alongside technical work
* Organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
* A proactive, solutions-oriented approach and enthusiasm for leading a small team
