Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the expansion of the children's crisis and home treatment team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated registered professional to join our multi‑agency team and help us provide outstanding care for children and young people (CYP) in Coventry and Warwickshire.
What We Offer
We support our team with regular supervision, training/shadowing opportunities and wellbeing support.
Responsibilities
* Provide risk reviews, follow‑ups for CYP who have recently had a crisis assessment, short‑term intervention and referrals onto other services.
* Deliver mental health care to CYP and their families in line with local and national guidelines across settings such as RISE clinics, acute hospital wards, young people’s homes and educational settings.
* Offer telephone support and advice to CYP up to 18 years old and their families/carers calling the 111 crisis line for urgent mental health help.
* Provide information, support, signposting and advice about managing mental health, and escalation of callers or concerns to senior clinicians.
* Assist callers in managing distress and difficulties and identify immediate and non‑immediate responses for 111/crisis line triage assessments.
* Work staggered shift patterns between 8am – 8pm, Monday‑Sunday, as discussed in the interview.
Qualifications
Registered professional and experience working with CYP and their families. Familiarity with mental health guidelines for CYP is desirable.
