Duties of the VDA / Estimator role:
9. Accurately prepare repair estimates for vehicles ensuring safety and quality standards
10. Liaise with customers and insurance engineers to negotiate and agree repair costs
11. Manage workflow within the workshop, overseeing updates and progress
12. Use Autoflow body management system to coordinate repair processes
13. Follow company methods and procedures consistently
14. Support and train less experienced staff where necessary
15. Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
Candidate requirements for the VDA / Estimator role:
16. At least 5 years' experience in a similar VDA / Estimator position
17. Strong knowledge of body repair processes and estimation techniques
18. Competent in using Autoflow or similar body management systems
19. Good organisational and multi-tasking skills
20. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and insurance personnel
21. Flexibility to travel within a 25-mile radius (small flexibility possible)
22. No specific certifications such as Audatex, NVQ, or IMI required but familiarity is advantageous
23. Someone driven, hands-on, and eager to contribute to a team environment
