This position focuses on building relationships with the people you will be supporting while helping them with their daily routines in line with their personal support plans, such as dressing, personal care, finances, medication, attending appointments, employment, volunteering, and hobbies.
Who will you be supporting?
You will support adults with learning disabilities and/or autism in a supported living service, helping them lead independent and fulfilling lives. The individuals enjoy activities like going to the cinema, cooking, arts and crafts, and socialising in the community. Some may require support with personal care and complex needs. A person-centred approach is essential to respect each individual’s choices and preferences.
