Lead Reliability Engineer- 3x
Location: 1x Hampshire, 1x Sussex and 1x Kent- Hybrid 3 office/ sites and remaining work from home- Driving licence is essential
Perm/FTC: Permanent
Hours: 37 hrs, Monday- Friday
Salary: Up to £63K- Depending on skills and experience
We are currently recruiting for 3x Lead Reliability Engineers across Kent, Sussex and Hampshire respectively to lead and manage a team of reliability engineers offering your expertise in creating and implementing effective strategies to ensure our assets are maintained to a high standard with the primary aim to increase reliability and minimise downtime.
Managing a team of up to4x direct reports, you will be an experienced leader coaching and developing your team members by ensuring they are equipped with relevant training within reliability engineering, maintenance techniques, and best practices for a sustainable asset management.
You will be overseeing the implementation and management of reliability-focused strategies (RCM, PM, CBM) to ensure that assets are maintained in the most cost-effective and efficient way. Collaborating with maintenance/ operational managers to implement cost-effective maintenance strategies that comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards is pivotal in this role.
In achieving the required standards set out by our regulators, you will be leading the analysis of data related to asset performance, maintenance activities, failure trends and KPI trending to make informed decisions about reliability improvements. As part of continuous improvement initiatives, you will be championing asset performance and reliability by identifying and eliminating asset failures, failure patterns and potential risks
In driving reliability and improvements, you will be ensure that assets are utilized efficiently throughout their life cycle, from acquisition to decommissioning, through effective maintenance and reliability strategies. As a confident communicator, it is essential for you to have the ability to prepare reports and performance summaries for senior management that demonstrate the effectiveness of asset reliability initiatives and maintenance activities, including any improvements, risks, or challenges.
To be successful in this role, you will be have strong leadership and management skills with experience in analysing, designing, operating, maintaining, managing or constructing assets. It is essential for you to have knowledge of electrical, ICA and mechanical assets with Reliability Analysis Techniques (RCM and FMECA) and having exposure working on reliability-focused strategies (RCM, PM, CBM) appreciating Asset Criticality.
Highly organised logical thinker and analytical with excellent planning skills, you’ll be able to manage your own time and working towards meeting deadlines. A great communicator with an engaging personal style, you will be joining us to expand the team to be more focussed in delivering strategies within Waste Water aiming to switch from reactive to planned maintenance aiming to become a reliability centred maintenance team in our next investment period, AMP 8!
