Backed by a diversified LP base comprising leading institutions and family offices, the fund partners with ambitious entrepreneurs and management teams to build market-leading platforms across Europe. With deep sectoral expertise and a proven value creation playbook, the firm is actively deploying capital from its latest vehicle and seeking to strengthen its London investment team.

The Opportunity

The incoming Associate will play a critical role in the full investment lifecycle, from sourcing and execution to value creation and exit. Working in a lean and high-performing team, the Associate will gain immediate exposure to senior dealmakers, portfolio company management, and strategic decision-making. The role offers hands-on involvement across platform investments, add-ons, and transformational growth initiatives within one of the most resilient and innovation-driven sectors.

Key Responsibilities

* Drive the full deal lifecycle, from early-stage origination through to execution, portfolio value creation, and exit, with direct exposure to partners and investment committee decision-making
* Lead financial modelling and valuation analyses including DCF, LBO, and precedent comparables; develop fully integrated business cases to support investment theses
* Co-lead due diligence workstreams across financial, commercial, legal, regulatory, and operational domains; challenge assumptions and synthesise findings into actionable insights
* Author investment committee memoranda, supporting a clear, thesis-driven rationale for new investments and bolt-on acquisitions
* Engage directly with management teams of portfolio companies to track performance, monitor KPIs, and help deliver strategic and operational improvement initiatives
* Support sector intelligence efforts, developing deep domain knowledge in verticals such as diagnostics, digital health, provider services, and medtech
* Proactively source deal flow, leveraging proprietary networks, founder outreach, and buy-and-build mapping to identify high-conviction targets

Candidate Profile

* 3+ years of top-tier experience in investment banking (M&A), private equity, or transaction advisory with a clear focus on complex, high-judgment transactions
* Demonstrated deal experience, including leading financial analysis, managing workstreams, and presenting to senior stakeholders
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to dissect business models, interrogate growth drivers, and evaluate market dynamics, ideally in healthcare or adjacent sectors
* High analytical horsepower, with advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; confident building, owning, and adapting models under pressure
* Intellectually curious, self-directed operator with the ability to thrive in a flat, entrepreneurial environment that prizes initiative and insight
* Excellent communication and synthesis skills, capable of producing clear investment materials and engaging credibly with founders, advisors, and LPs
* Outstanding academic credentials from a leading university; fluency in English is essential, with other European languages seen as additive
