The Area Sales Manager Electrical Wholesale will involve field sales selling a distributed range of low voltage electrical equipment including consumer units, main switch, RCBO, MCB, RCD, surge protection devices, industrial plugs & sockets, and rotary isolator switches.

North London, Northern Home Counties & Anglia. Postcodes: UB, W, WC, EC, E, RM, HA, NW, N, IG, WD, EN, AL, SS, CM, SG, LU, HP, MK, CB, CO & IP.
Remuneration
£30,000-£40,000 + Commission and end of year £1,000 Bonus + £3,000 Stretch Bonus.
Benefits
£500 per month car allowance & benefits.
Responsibilities
* 90% of time selling into electrical wholesalers.
* 10% stimulating demand with electrical contractors, electrical installers, and end users.
* Inherit an area with a small turnover (~£425,000) tasked with growing to £600,000 by 2026.
* Initially responsible for approx. 48 open accounts, only 14 actively spending.
* Recruit and onboard 2 new electrical wholesale customer accounts per month (dormant 6+ months or new).
* Work 4 days a week on the road (circa 6 visits per day) and 1 day working from home/administration.
Qualifications
* Field sales experience within the electrical sector.
* Knowledge of low voltage electrical products.
* Experience selling into electrical wholesale customers.
* May consider someone working for an electrical wholesaler looking to progress to field sales.
* Proven track record of sales/business development.
* Demonstrable track record in new business and account management.
* Personable, team player, people person, driven and enthusiastic.
